3 Tips
As an Adult, Educator, Teacher
- Have the imagination and the where with all, to create safe spaces in which children can learn the consequences of their choices, safely, without trying them out in the real world. Then they will understand how to align themselves with those choices.
- Teach them that they are as powerful as they need to be to create whatever they need in life without having to hurt themselves or anybody else, in order to do so.
- Anything you believe that is important for them to learn about being in physical reality on Earth, a lesson that you believe is important for them to learn and adapt that lesson to their passion. Do not diminish their passion with the lesson.
These 3 things will allow you to develop a mature balanced creative adult.

In the groundbreaking #1 bestselling book by Daniel Goldman, Emotional Intelligence; Goldman draws on new brain and behavioral research that illustrates how the factors at work play out when people of high IQ flounder and those of modest IQ do surprisingly well.

The emotions that we feel impacts everyone around us. If you are frustrated, feeling impatient and are operating under stress or lack of sleep, everyone around you, your peers, your family members and the students that you teach will pick up on those emotions as well.
Developing Emotional Intelligence benefits everyone. It also extends well beyond the emotional well being of just one individual as it is linked to improved health, improved relationships and improved higher performance at work.

From the larger report.......Everything starts with education.
In preschooler and school-age children, problems in socio-emotional development typically manifest themselves as challenging, socially disruptive patterns of behavior that, without intervention, can evolve into persistent antisocial behavior, such as physical aggression and bullying and ultimately adolescent delinquency (Powell et al., 2003; Wil-son et al., 2001).
For the teachers and classmates, these disruptive behaviors are a major challenge to educational success because children with socio-emotional problems deflect valuable time, energy and attention from the entire classroom learning experience (Raver and Knitze, 2002).
